We have detailed information on over 10,000 United States colleges and universities. The data reflects crimes and offenses denoted by the institutions based on Federal reporting requirements. We take this publicly available information and present it in an easy to understand format.

In addition to raw data, we also incorporate trends, rankings, and mapping components into our site. Use either of the search boxes at the right side of any of our sites pages to find the information you are looking for.

Information has been Updated

Our database was updated on January 6th, 2013 with information from the 2009, 2010 and 2011 calendar years. Updates include self-reported statistics from colleges and universities, CampusCrimeStats.com analytics, mapping/area information, etc.

Main sources of data collection
  • U.S Department of Education
  • Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act
  • Enrollment Data from Colleges and Universities
  • Mapping (Latitude/Longitude) data using version 3 of the Google Maps API

    State Groupings

    Data has now been grouped into distinct subcategories so that you can compare schools within the same state. Using this data you can view enrollment numbers, campus safety, disciplinary action taken against students for various offenses, etc.
    Social Media Links

    Links to many social media outlets have been added. After performing a search for data, you will be able to Tweet the information, post it to your Facebook account, or share it with others through many social media sites. Just click the popular icons to share your findings.
